Merit Fondong is a highly skilled and board-certified nurse practitioner with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health Medicine and Family Medicine. Holding a Master of Nursing Practice since 2015, Merit furthered her specialization by obtaining a Post-master’s Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of North Dakota in 2021.

With a diverse background spanning eight years, Merit has honed her expertise in various healthcare settings, including the emergency room, primary care, urgent care, nursing homes, assisted living, veterans’ disability assessments, mental health, and substance use disorder (SUD) care. Her commitment to excellence extends to her role as an educator at the University of North Dakota College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines.
